Office and Operating Site Setup in Syria

We help investors find a suitable office or operating space in Syria and get it ready for work. We coordinate viewings, technical requirements and fit-out providers, and document the schedule, budget status and open decisions, while the final choice and the budget stay with the investor.

What we offer

We start by putting the project's needs in writing: type of space (office, warehouse, showroom, workshop), approximate size, preferred area, power, connectivity and access requirements, and the available budget. On that basis we research available options and present them to the investor in a comparison summary with photos, notes and open questions.

Once a site is chosen, we coordinate technical inspections with specialists, collect fit-out quotes from different providers (furniture, electrical, air conditioning, networks, security systems) and follow the work against the agreed schedule. Any quote or change beyond what was agreed goes to the investor for approval before it is carried out.

Throughout the project we keep a clear record: who is responsible for each task, what has been completed, what is waiting for a decision, and how much has been spent against the approved budget. Lease agreements, permits and construction work are handled by qualified professionals and the competent authorities.

Who it is for

  • Investors opening a representative or operating officeThey need a workable office without being permanently present in Syria during setup.
  • Companies needing a warehouse or workshopTheir sites have specific technical requirements such as power capacity, loading access and storage.
  • Retail projects and showroomsThey need site assessment, interior fit-out and several providers coordinated at once.
  • Investors managing the project from abroadThey want a local contact who follows the work and reports in writing instead of scattered phone updates.

Problems we address

  • Spaces offered remotely are hard to judge without on-site viewings and documented notes.
  • Technical requirements such as power, connectivity and ventilation are unclear before signing.
  • Several providers work without coordination, causing delays and overlapping work.
  • Budgets are exceeded through changes that were never submitted for approval.
  • There is no clear picture of project status and the decisions waiting for the investor.

Practical example

Illustrative scenario

Setting up a small regional office

An investor based abroad wants to open an office for a small team in Damascus and follows the project remotely.

  1. Requirements are written down: workstations, a meeting room, internet connection and budget range.
  2. Three options are presented with photos, viewing notes and open questions for each.
  3. After the investor chooses, a qualified legal professional reviews the lease.
  4. Quotes for furniture, network and air conditioning are collected and submitted for approval.
  5. Work is tracked and a weekly report on status and spending is sent.
  6. The office is handed over with a record of remaining items.

This is an illustrative scenario explaining how we work, not a client reference.

How we work together

  1. Define requirements

A session with the investor to document type of space, technical needs, budget and desired timeline.

  2. Research and viewings

Research of available options, documented viewings and a comparison summary.

  3. Decision and contract

The investor chooses the site; the contract is reviewed by a qualified professional before signing.

  4. Fit-out and coordination

Quotes are collected and approved, then providers are coordinated and work is tracked.

  5. Handover and documentation

Completed work is checked and a record of the final status and open items is handed over.

Intended results

  • Decisions based on documented information and a clear comparison of options.
  • Documented project coordination with clear responsibilities for each party.
  • Ongoing visibility of budget status and decisions required.
  • A site fitted out according to the agreed scope.

What we need from you

  • Description of the planned activity and type of space needed.
  • Approximate budget and desired timeline.
  • Special technical requirements, if any (power capacity, storage, loading access).
  • Definition of approval rights and spending limits.
  • Participation, on site or remotely, in key decisions.

Basis for cost and timeline

Cost and duration depend on the size of the site, the scope of fit-out, the number of providers and the length of support. We agree the quote either as a defined scope with a fixed price per phase (research, fit-out, handover) or as monthly support. Rent, fit-out costs and official fees are paid separately from IAG's fees and shown transparently in the tracking statements.
