Investor Trips to Syria

A short business trip pays off when it is well prepared. We organize your programme of meetings and site visits, prepare documents for each meeting and record what was agreed, so you return with a clear list of next tasks.

What we offer

We start with the purpose of the trip: which decisions you want to move closer to, whom you need to meet and which sites you want to see yourself. On that basis we propose a daily programme, coordinate appointments with parties who agree to meet, and prepare a short file for each meeting with background, suggested questions and open points.

During the trip we accompany you to meetings and visits as agreed and provide language support between Arabic and English or German, subject to the actual availability of interpreters on your dates, which we confirm in advance. After each day we summarize the results, and at the end of the trip you receive a report of results, next tasks and who is responsible for each.

We do not issue visas and cannot guarantee entry or travel approval; those decisions rest with the competent authorities. Travel, accommodation and personal safety arrangements remain your responsibility, and we can help with practical coordination on request.

Who it is for

  • Investors visiting Syria on business for the first timeWant a structured programme instead of scattered, unconfirmed appointments.
  • Company delegations from the Gulf or EuropeNeed several meetings and visits coordinated within limited time.
  • Investors who have completed market researchWant to check locations and suppliers on the ground before deciding.

Problems we address

  • Appointments are cancelled or moved without a fallback because coordination was informal.
  • Unprepared meetings end without clear results.
  • Language barriers in technical or commercial meetings.
  • What was said in meetings is not documented, so commitments are lost after returning.
  • A short trip misses the most important sites because time was poorly planned.

Practical example

Illustrative scenario

Three-day business trip for a light manufacturing project

An investor from Germany has completed an initial assessment for a workshop and wants to see sites and meet potential suppliers.

  1. Define trip goals and the list of parties and sites required.
  2. Contact suppliers and property owners and confirm appointments.
  3. Prepare a file for each meeting and a daily programme with travel times.
  4. Accompany the investor and arrange Arabic-German interpreting on two days, subject to availability.
  5. Deliver a final report with results and the list of next tasks.

This is an illustrative scenario to explain how we work, not a client reference.

How we work together

  1. Define the purpose

We agree what you want to achieve, whom you want to meet and what you want to see.

  2. Draft programme and offer

We send a first programme and a written offer covering services and fees.

  3. Coordination and preparation

We confirm appointments, prepare meeting files and arrange language support subject to availability.

  4. Accompaniment during the trip

We run the programme with you, handle changes and summarize each day.

  5. Report and follow-up

We hand over the trip report and next tasks, and can follow them up after you return.

Intended results

  • Trip time spent on the meetings and visits that matter most for your decision.
  • Results of every meeting documented and available to you and your team.
  • A clear list of next tasks and who owns them.

What we need from you

  • Trip goals and the decisions you want to move closer to.
  • Proposed dates and length of stay.
  • List of parties or types of organizations you want to meet.
  • Languages required in meetings.
  • Confirmation of your visa status and travel arrangements.

Basis for cost and timeline

Cost depends on the number of trip days, meetings and visits, the level of accompaniment and the need for interpreting. We provide a written fixed-scope offer for preparation and accompaniment; external costs such as transport and independent interpreters are charged separately and only after your approval. Visa fees and any other official fees are separate from IAG fees and are paid according to the competent authority's rules.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee a visa or entry into Syria?

No. We do not issue visas and cannot guarantee entry; that decision rests solely with the competent authorities. We organize the trip programme once your travel status is confirmed.

Is interpreting always available?

We arrange language support subject to the actual availability of interpreters on your dates and confirm the available languages and days in advance.

Do you guarantee meetings with specific people or organizations?

No. We contact parties and coordinate appointments, but each party decides for itself whether to meet.

Do you book flights and hotels?

Bookings remain with you or your chosen travel agent; we can help coordinate them with the programme.

What happens after the trip?

You receive a report of results and next tasks, and follow-up of those tasks can be agreed remotely under a separate offer.
