Purpose
IAG Health aims to support administrative and medical teams in hospitals and clinics by organizing the patient journey from registration and booking to documentation within a department and referral between departments. The concept includes configurable documentation forms per department, including ophthalmology forms such as visual acuity and eye pressure readings. The system is not presented as a certified medical device and does not make treatment decisions; patient data protection is handled according to the rules applicable to the organization.
- Public and private hospitalsNeeding to coordinate appointments and documentation across several departments.
- Clinics and specialist centersIncluding eye centers that rely on repeated measurements and examinations per patient.
- Health administration bodiesNeeding operational reports on patient volume, waiting times and department utilization.
Typical workflow: A hospital organizes appointments and documentation
- Reception staffRegister and book
Reception would search for the patient or create a new record and book an appointment in the relevant department's calendar.
- Reception staffCheck-in
On arrival the patient is marked as present and appears in the department's waiting list.
- Nursing and technical staffPreparation
Staff record preparatory information in the forms defined by the facility.
- PhysicianDocumentation
The physician documents the visit in the configured forms and can attach files; medical decisions remain entirely with the physician.
- PhysicianReferral or follow-up
Where needed, a referral to another department or a follow-up appointment would be created as a task.
- Medical managementOverview
Management sees operational reports on appointments and department workload, without access beyond its assigned permissions.
Possible application for illustration only. Steps and screens are design drafts; the actual workflow is defined per project.

Operating models
IAG Health can be operated in one of three models: managed cloud, a private cloud dedicated to the organization, or on-premises installation in the organization's own data center. The choice is made per project based on data protection requirements, available infrastructure, connectivity and internal policies, and is documented in the implementation plan. In healthcare settings, particular attention is paid to where patient data is stored and to the organization's requirements and applicable rules.
The operating model (managed cloud, dedicated private environment or on-premises installation) is decided per project.
Introduction and training
Analyze the current patient journey in the relevant departments with medical and administrative staff
Define departments, documentation forms and permissions
Pilot in one department, such as outpatient clinics or ophthalmology
Train reception and medical staff on daily tasks
Extend to further departments after reviewing pilot results
Maintenance and support
- Technical support via a ticket system with agreed response levels
- Post-launch follow-up during the first operating phase
- Adjustment of documentation forms in coordination with medical management
- Security updates according to an agreed maintenance plan
Data takeover
Patient master data and appointment lists from Excel, paper registers or older systems would be reviewed with the facility, cleaned of duplicates and imported only after a test run on a sample. Whether and how historical medical records are taken over, for example as scanned attachments, is decided per project. All steps would follow the patient data protection rules applicable to the facility, and data would only be handled under the facility's instructions.
Training
- Training for reception staff on patient registration and appointment calendars
- Training for physicians and nursing staff on documentation forms and referrals
- Introduction for medical management to reports and the access log
- Administrator training on users, permissions and form configuration
Frequently asked questions
Is IAG Health a certified medical system?
We do not claim any medical certification. It is a workflow and documentation system; medical decisions remain with the medical staff.
How is patient data protected?
Through role-based permissions, an access and change log, and local or private operating options; processing is configured according to the rules applicable to the organization.
Can it be tailored to an eye department?
Yes, the concept includes configurable documentation forms; ophthalmology fields are defined with the department's physicians during analysis.
Should I send patient files through the website for a test?
No. We neither request nor accept patient files via the public website; demonstrations use fictitious sample data.
